Yes love it! Stayed up the road for three weeks. Pretty clean. Super touristy. Gets very busy. Water warm. Rent a surfboard, fly about in a parachute pulled by a speed boat, get a (sandy?) massage, buy some (pretty decent) RayBans dupes from the beach hawkers. Whichever end of Kata Beach you choose is beautiful and sunset is lovely.
