Bridge Over the River Kwai, Kanchanaburi

Walk across a landmark of 20th-century history at Bridge Over the River Kwai, an impressive structure best known as the setting for a world-famous book and film. Constructed under Japanese authority by Allied POWs and Asian slave-laborers, the bridge is part of the Burma Railway route, and can now be traversed by foot.
