Schadau Park, Thun

Great park with a variety of plants and a great outlook on the mountains and lake. Very peaceful place you shouldn't miss

Very lovely staff, the wonderful garden with a fantastic view of Lake Thun. My wife and I had invited two professional photographers to the Castle for photo and video shooting of our wedding. The staff was very kind to us letting us use every single corner of the hotel, and even moving things around to find better spots. A big thank you to them! There was a weird smell (like dead fish!) in some spots like in the elevator. Tap water was priced (unlike other places in Switzerland) because they claimed it was filtered. Swiss mountains are natural filters and I think no one buys this marketing idea to sell tap water in Switzerland.
