Take a trip back in time to take in the superb craftsmanship and details of the finest Roman mosaics north of the Alps. Spread over a large area on the site of huge large Roman villa. Access is easy and the mosaics are quite simply stunning. There were lots of knowledgeable staff on hand to answer my questions as well. There is an information film in the visitor's centre and it was playing in French when I was there. As it was rather long, I didn't stay to see if any other languages were available. Access by car is easy with plenty of parking spots. I came by bus and walked through lovely countryside for twenty minutes from the nearby town of Montchoisi, Orbe which is the nearest public transport stop. Heartily recommended .
