The chateau itself is impressive, and inside it has two museums. We skipped the miliatry museum and went to the one with the history of the Canton de Vaud. Very informative for a brief visit.

Interesting collection of historical heavy weapons, from cannons to turret guns, and attendant ammunition. Very interesting at Christmas when the market spills into the museum and the vendors incorporate the cannons into their booths. Great views of Lake Geneva and adjacent to the gardens where the tulip festival is held every year.
