    The cathedral is just simply vast! The inside is huge with vaulted ceilings. If you like architecture you would appreciate the craftsmanship and age of this building. Its not overly in your face...

    Nice self guided tour (with useful headsets) around this lovely old cathedral. Entrance price of €7 includes the church next door. Well worth spending an hour here if you are in Girona..

    Beautiful little square, with a spectacular view of the cathedral and a nice cafe. You can sit, have a drink, and admire the Gothic cathedral before visiting.

    There's usually people here stopping by to take photos given its appearance in Game of Thrones, so if you want to avoid people you should probably go early. The stairs that lead up to the Cathedral do give an impression of grandness, but at the same time makes it hard to get selfies from the bottom of the stairs due to the awkward angle. After you do the obligatory walk up, pause and admire the detailing on the Cathedral facade.
