Cinema Museum Girona (Museu del Cinema) has won several awards, including "European Museum of the Year,” and is the home of the collection of Tomás Mallol, a Catalan director. Your tour begins at the exterior of the building, where illuminated film posters and images fill the windows. Inside are over 12,000 items, which includes 750 films in all their formats. Pre-cinema history is on display in the form of accessories, engravings, and paintings related to the origins of the moving image. We visited the Film Museum during our visit in Girona, it was very impressive, you will a lot of historic items and how human create images and first film during the centuries. I was not disappointed

One of the best museums in the country I've ever been to and I have been to many! The collection is great, very extensive and varied, covers the whole history of photography and cinema. Has very very good on hands demonstrations that you can interact with. For the more knowledgeable, the audio guide is quite insightful and there are quite a few more technical parts to inspect.

Personally considered the best attraction in Girona. The entrance is cheap, and it tells the history of cinema in detail with a lot of interaction tools. It makes you remember the history while having fun!
