Create an itinerary including Monasterio de Sant Pere de Rodes
Often described as an unforgettable beauty, Monasterio de Sant Pere de Rodes is a 10th century monastery that stands watch over the sea. The structure is somewhat ruined, with just columns and the foundation intact, but the remaining portions still offer a striking visual. A modest museum on site offers more details and history about the area. There are plenty of chances for great photos, as you’ll find yourself high in the mountains surrounded by aromatic trees, with mist rising from the sea. There’s also a cafe here when you need refreshment. • Getting to Monasterio de Sant Pere de Rodes was as beautiful as the Monasterio itself. Spectacular views from this historic site. Self-guided tour was simple to follow and well organized.
  • Amazing place to visit if you have the time. Hike is a good short burn. We took the loop around the ridge to all three sites and finished with the audio tour (free wifi provided) of the monastery. Pack a lunch for the panoramic views from the top of the mountain. My tip would be to hire the fastest sports car you can and approach the site from the North. Drive it like you stole it!
