Create an itinerary including Primates' Palace (Primacialny palac)
Once the residence of an archbishop and the site of the treaty that would dissolve the Holy Roman Empire, Primates' Palace (Primacialny palac) today serves as the office of the mayor. Visit the palace, finished in 1781 and now open to the public, and admire its ornate facade featuring a wealth of neoclassical architectural designs. Make your way to the main attraction, the lavishly decorated Hall of Mirrors, which witnessed the signing of the 1805 Peace of Pressburg. Don't miss seeing the inner courtyard, complete with a statue of St. George, and the 17th-century English tapestries, which have survived in their original state for centuries. • A nice building but didn't blow the mind in any way... But it is set in a lovely little square with a lot else around it to make it a worthy stop on your explorations.

  • Really nice. I loved the mirrors and the carpets . So fascinating. And also the staff there was really cute
  • Beautiful building that's hosts different events and concerts from time to time. There is a pretty courtyard with sitting and statue to admire.
