Witness one world's most bizarre statues at Merlion Park, famed for its figure of a half lion, half fish shooting water from its mouth in a proud arc. Built in 1964, the 9 m (30 ft) statue now represents one of Singapore's symbols. A smaller statue--the fish-lion's baby--can also be found nearby. No doubt it’s the icon of Singapore , next to Esplanade and near Marina Bay, can spend an hour here, very scenic and nearby walk to raffles, Clarke quay, Asian civilisations museum to name a few.

Beautiful area and worth visiting. Please note Singapore with very humid and it may be to hot during the day. Best times would be when suns setting down or night time.

It is a fountain in shape of half lion and half mermaid. The scenery over Marina Bay Sands is great in both day and night. It is good a walk and nice to relax.
