  • I loved the overall vibe of Chinatown. We walked around and it was fun to see preparations for Chinese New Year. Lots of excellent food choices.

  • Visited Chinatown at night to feel the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere. The streets are well decorated and the decorations look great! Chinatown is packed with many nice food stalls and has many oriental products. Instead of getting products online, you can purchase many of these items at physical stores, which decreases the waiting time during shipment. The streets can get quite crowded during festive seasons but during these festivities and it can get quite exciting!
  • Nice area to explore in the center of the city. Just opposite Chinatown MRT. Plenty of things to do around here. Maxwell food center is a great start for food lovers. Highly recommend the rojak local dish. The temple is huge and nice to visit too. Chinatown street market is filled with shops and restaurants too. Good for shopping especially for Singapore souvenirs. China point and People park shopping mall nearby too.
