Originally used to grow medicinal plants, Aptekarskiy Ogorod Botanical Garden represents the oldest botanical garden in Russia featuring ornate flowers and greenhouses. Peter the Great founded the garden in 1703 to supply a hospital with herbs and medicinal materials. Since 1805, the land has belonged to Moscow State University and its biology department. You can explore the gardens as well as three different greenhouses. Walk along the site's trails or eat a meal at a restaurant with scenic terraces facing the greenery. Lovely place! You can see various flowers and plants here. The garden is well-kept, peaceful and natural as well. The admission is 300 rubles, I think it's worth of it. Well-known restaurants and cafes are located just near the entrance of garden, and you can enjoy the garden view in some of them.

The good green place in the big city! There are flowers that blooms depending on time, different types of trees. Pond (a bit overgrown). There you can see friendly mandarine ducks. Around the garden there are nice cafes and restaurants. Enter for guests of Garden Embassy Hotel is free and the price of tickets is ~2$ for others. I really love nature so that I rate this place of 5 stars !
