The Senja Troll (Norwegian: Senjatrollet) was a tourist attraction in Finnsæter on the island of Senja in northern Norway. It was completely destroyed in a fire on March 28, 2019. The largest troll statue in the world, it was the centerpiece of a family park associated with the Hulderheimen cultural center, together known as the Hulder and Troll Park. The troll has been given a wife, or crone (kjerring); inside both figures are an adventure park and other attractions.

  • We were there when the central place - giant trolls - were burned in spring 2019. But still, there are some other funny spots, and first of all - museum shop/cafe/museum.

  • A very mystical place, I hope people still discover the place although the main troll sadly burned down couple of years ago. Would be a shame if such a tragic accident ruined the success of the whole, interesting area. For caravans - also a perfectly peaceful place to spend the night at the parking lot as the cafe doesn't open before 9am and thus not much traffic is to be expected.
  • After a long day cycling when we get to this cafe it was nearly closed but the nice lady opened the door again and we could take a break with nice coffee and sandwiches. Thank you so much for your warm welcoming. You are the best
