Very tough climb up through difficult terrain (tree roots, rocks, slippery areas with ramp chains here and there to hold on to). 500m altitude difference between start and finish. Not for the faint...

This is a really "must do" in Åndalsnes. Challenging hiking towards the top (45 min if you're in good shape), the forest is an really nice experience itself. The top is magic!

It's a steep hike up 500m, a mixture of tree roots, rock and carved steps. Not the easiest hike in rain due to the tree roots and slippy rocks. Beautiful view from the viewpoint and worth the climb! Then if you want you can continue to hike to the top where the cable car is.

Great place. The way to the view point was a little bit hard due to the snow. Especially the last part was difficult with explosion and ropes. The view is great!!!
