Kåfjord Church (Norwegian: Kåfjord kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Alta Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county, Norway. It is located in the village of Kåfjord. It is an annex church for the Alta parish which is part of the Alta prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1837 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect, making it the oldest surviving church building in Alta. The church seats about 300 people.

    We went here as part of a cruise ship excursion & saw the inside. It was nice & the seats had heaters underneath them. I don't know if you can make independent arrangements to see the inside, but...

    close to the Tirpitz Museum, surrounded by a lovely cemetery with a cairn to British Navy men who died during one of the attacks on the Tirpitz, you may even meet reindeer in the cemetery (we did)
