Really interesting place with much to see. Café is superb, I recommend the coffee and my friend the hot chocolate. Balcony area worth a visit. The exhibitions on the lower floor is worth viewing. You'll find the toilets down there which are clean and modern. I think there's a lift to the lower floor. Shop area good and prices are reasonable for a tourist shop. All speak excellent English.

Visiting in winter means that the rock carvings outside are not available to view. However, the museum has a very informative display, with some real examples to see. There are further displays of interest, such as Arctic predators, traditional costume, sporting heroes and historic ways of like. A very enjoyable visit.
