Glenorchy Animal Experience, Glenorchy

Visited the farm.. was lovely to see the animals however sad to see a deer kept on his own with some goats in a relatively confined space and 2 big lamas in a very small outdoor pen; their fur was all matted and overdue shearing which I have addressed to the lady owner and sarcastically replied if I wanted to do it myself. From now on I will be boycotting places where they charge money and animals are involved but visit only real farms and see animals free on the land and not kept confined for show. Updated after reading the response: After reading your response I am even more concerned for your animals’ welfare as you are a liar; I did ask about the lamas and you told me to do it myself. Your are shocking and I wish you to close down.

Had a very enjoyable time today at the farm. Staff were so friendly and helpful.. creating some cool first memories for my kids with these awesome animals.. we will be back for sure
