Create an itinerary including Swayambhunath Temple
Watching over the capital from its hilltop vantage point, Swayambhunath Temple stands proudly as one of the nation's most popular tourist and religious sites. Featuring a white dome topped with an iconic golden spire, the World Heritage-listed temple likely dates back to before the 5th century, when it was already a vital pilgrimage destination. The structure endured the devastation of the 2015 earthquake, its prayer flags continuing to flutter in the breeze. Step inside to see a fusion of Hindu and Buddhist iconography, or try spinning the prayer wheels yourself. • Place is magical you will feel the vibe once you reach there. to feel the magic be here early morning or at full moon night. Listed in the world heritage site by UNESCO it’s amongst the must visit destination around Kathmandu. The full moon night gives a different shine to this majestic monastery and prayers around the shops brings you to another dimension. Also known as monkey temple. you can see the valley from here.
  • One of best places to visit in Kathmandu. A world heritage site. This place shows how Hinduism and Buddhism dwell coherently here in Nepal. It has so much of history in itself. The environment of this place has a calming effect. One can relax and enjoy the view of the concrete jungle i.e Kathmandu City. A must must visit place. Also, one has to be careful of the monkeys as it is otherwise known as Monkey Temple.
