Garden of Dreams
Escape the city hubbub and retreat to Garden of Dreams, a peaceful garden complex renowned for its scenic pavilions. Also known as the “Garden of Six Seasons," it was built in 1920 for Field Marshall Kaiser Sumsher Rana and was abandoned after his death in the 1960s. Today, restored with help of the Austrian government, it remains a landmark of Kathmandu and a popular spot for a relaxing stroll. Roaming the lush gardens, you can admire Edwardian-style inspired fountains, birdhouses, gazebos, and other picturesque decorations. Waste of time and $4. Pointless - barely anything to see and you’re done within 3 minutes - not worth the entry fee, rip off.

Don’t listen to the haters. It’s a Lovely little garden. Yes there is an entry fee, but the garden is v nice. It’s a nice break from being a tourist in the city. It was very relaxing to sit back and enjoy people watching. It seemed like a very popular spot with locals and hence does tend to get crowded so time your visit accordingly.
