Create an itinerary including The Knights Hospitallers
Visit the lower ward of the hospital established and run by The Knights Hospitallers, where patients slept three to a bed. Take a guided tour to learn about the hospital, the medical procedures performed there, and how it was organized. The detailed exhibits depict how life was for the sick and wounded. Displays also explain the origins of this order of knights and how the construction of the hospital gave birth to the concept of modern-day nursing and health care. The museum is underground and involves descending steps, which may be difficult for those with mobility problems. • Small and quirky but great value and very informative. Good toilet facilities. The 'senior' gentlemen at the entrance was most welcoming and humorous. Definately worth a hour of your time if you're passing by.
  • It was a cool visit. I had really low expections, but the museum it is well put together.
