  • One of my favorite Kyoto attractions. Awesome monkeys that you can feed, and amazing views of the city. Easy recommendation if weather is nice and you don't mind a 10-15 min walk uphill.
  • Beautiful experience! Being able to see and interact with the monkeys in Iwatayama park was very enjoyable. It takes half an hour of walking uphill to get to the top of the monkey park but it is definitely worth it and you can enjoy an excellent view of the city of Kyoto as well as spend time fully immersed in nature and in contact with the monkeys. Certainly should be developed more places like this, to bring people closer to animals and at the same time let them be free in their habitat
