This Torre Aragonese at Isola Rossa on the north coast of the island of Sardinia is just a starting point for walks along the red granite coast. It is also a popular motif to includes in photographs. We were there in spring when the rocky coastline was covered in bright pink flowers which is really worth seeing. From the tower a trail leads off from the village somewhat along the coast, so it is possible to explore further. We didn't visit the tower - I don't think it was possible - there was only a sign saying 'private'.
