Had a lovely evening in here as part of a group of about 20. Small back bar was hired and we had a great evening with good drinks served by an excellent young Batman. Would recommend

An amazing pub, good music, good crowd, good drinks, and friendly service. I RECOMMEND!!!! Don’t know why there are some bad reviews?????

Grand spot. If you're a regular and from the town, even better. Went in a couple of weekends back with a mate to have a pint or two and watch the football. Found a corner of the bar down to the left as you come in that had a good view of a TV screen. Set up a couple of stools and ordered pints, all good. Soon as we got settled senior barman comes over and informs us that the part of the bar where we were seated was reserved for service staff only, health & safety issue, blah blah. Ok so, we moved to a nearby table with a crick-in-the-neck view of the TV and people coming and going in front of us. Then in come the barman's pals, perch themselves where we had been seated and settle in to enjoy the match, no hassle. Not impressed. Won't be back.
