The Little Museum of Dublin
The Little Museum of Dublin offers a brief, informative, and entertaining introduction into the life of the 20th-century Dublin. Located inside a Georgian townhouse, the tiny museum houses a collection of over 5,000 artifacts, most of them donated or loaned by ordinary Dubliners. The little museum's big collection includes everything from old toys and antique machines to first-edition books by celebrated local authors and rare stamps with a Dublin connection. Don't miss the exhibit dedicated to John F. Kennedy's visit to the city, and an installation focused entirely on the worldwide success of local rockers from the band "U2." The tour was really informative, even as a Dubliner, I learned loads from chatty, engaging Emmanuel.

The Little Museum of Dublin is a great time. I have to start the review by giving a special shout-out to our guide, Mark. He was kind, knowledgeable, welcoming and had the whole group of us laughing while being very informative. There was ample room for a whole group in each room. Whether you prefer to stand or sit there is a place for everyone to be comfortable. The 30 minute tour was really able to cover a lot! I’m always impressed when a museum tour can make me laugh and learn simultaneously. What fun! Afterwards we grabbed some coffee and strolled through Stephens Green which, conveniently, is right across the street. It was a lovely afternoon which started with a tour at The Little Museum of Dublin.

Loved this! I bought a day ticket so I could do the St Stephen's Green tour and then later dive on one of the museum tours. Both tours were really good fun - the tour guides knew their stuff but kept it light and entertaining. I think it's a must when you're in Dublin so you learn a great snapshot of the city/country, but presented in an easy to digest way. Highly recommended!
