Visit Skellig Michael, the larger of the two Skillig Islands, to see the natural beauty and the famous ruins of early religious settlement. The remains of the historic monastery, along with much of the Atlantic Ocean island, were named a World Heritage Site in 1996. The monastery was established on the island between the 6th and 8th century, but was abandoned in the 12th century. Take a tour of the island, weather permitting. If you like to dive, take advantage of one of the dive sites. • Absolutely amazing, I can’t describe the beauty of the place. It’s spiritual, pure natural beauty and astounding scenery. Waited 54 years to get there, I’ll be back with the grandchildren when they...

  • This trip is something that includes a certain element of 'dare', 'anxiety' and 'adventure'. You're going there because the islandvis calling you, you can't let it down. I didn't sleep the night...

  • Awesome trip with Boat "Deva" the crew were just amazing. Booked landing tour, took 5 hours, first we did the tour around the islands, after landing to Great Skellig. Everything on time. This is the toilets in the island. Lots of puffins now in july.
  • One of the most cool experiences I've had. The island is like an island out of bond as you disembark the boat with a sheltered walk way and a helipad on the side of the cliffs. As you ascend the 600 or so steps to the monastic settlement you get the feeling of how special and spiritual this place is and can tell why they used it as luke skywalkers hideout in star wars. Its out of this world and well worth the money to see if you are lucky enough to get the weather to allow a landing.
