My husband and I had the most perfect two night stay at Ashford Castle. The castle and grounds are stunning and like out of a historic fairytale. Our room overlooking the lake was so beautiful and comfortable. My husband wasn’t sure if the room would be too “old-fashioned” but it was decorated tastefully in a classy way and we both loved it. There was the cinema right across from our room which was lovely to have, and amazingly enough even with its doors open we didn’t hear a sound coming from it which meant the room was well insulated. The pool was also a perfect touch to our relaxing few days. All the staff, in every area, were so warm and kind going above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. They made our stay all the more memorable and we can’t wait to return!

This is probably the most amazing place I’ve ever stayed in my life. And what I loved most about it wasn’t even the incredible grounds, the immaculate rooms, the amazing food—it was the way the staff here treats you. Every person who walks in is treated like royalty. We only had the opportunity to stay one night, which is a CRIME. I highly recommend staying two or more nights if you can. It is an unforgettable place.
