  • Blarney was our favorite castle on our trip to Ireland. You could explore the entire grounds and there is much history to read about as you go through which was nice. There is a small cafe on sight...

  • Beautiful scenery, no queues up the castle, beautiful view from the top. Need a bit of yoga to kiss the stone if you up to it. Steps to the top are quite steep you need to be careful. Had lovely...

  • Absolutely worth going to see Blarney Castle, especially to walk inside and see the wishing stone. It's a huge ground to cover with so many interesting things to see, from poison garden, lake, druid stone, witches kitchen, wishing steps to the legend it embraces. Beautifully designed architecture of the castle. Worth spending half a day there.
  • This is one of Irelands most famous sites. I came here on a guided tour and it was definitely worth the trip. I would highly recommend a visit and the one in a life experience to kiss the Blarney Stone. Cork, Ireland. Though earlier fortifications were built on the same spot, the current keep was built by the MacCarthy of Muskerry dynasty, a cadet branch of the Kings of Desmond, and dates from 1446. It is most famous for being the home of the Blarney Stone, which according to folklore, bestows the gift of the flattery and eloquence (gift of gab) on those who kiss the stone. During summer months though the line up are long seeing from the signs they have around staying the wait times. I would always suggest going first thing in the morning. Also don’t miss out on walking around the gardens, there are so many beautiful little gems around.
