Standard tours at Manousakis Winery include a tour of the winery grounds and a wine tasting of 5 or 7 available wines. A restaurant at the tasting area offers traditional Cretan meze dishes and they are available to order on the spot. Keep in mind that opening hours are valid only from April until mid-November. We enjoyed the attractive setting among ancient olive trees, surrounded by local families and couples. We did not try the food but only tasted the wines, which were just ok, but not exceptional.

We had a fantastic tour, tasting and then evening meal at Manousakis winery. We then had a tasting, which was combined with our meal to great effect. It's a beautiful setting and felt like really fantastic value. The staff were all friendly, helpful and made us feel like very welcome guests. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn more about the wines of Crete, whether a beginner or a novice to wine!

Honestly it was gorgeous. It's beautiful grounds, wonderful people, and great wine. On a sunny day, pop open a Rosé and take in the citrus blossoms. Really worth a visit if you like wine.
