Awesome hike! The path feels like a little adventure in the jungle. It will take you approximately 1h from the parking to the waterfall if you take the main path. I would recommend (obviously) taking appropriate shoes as there can be quite some water at certain parts of the trail. Wouldn't recommend for beginners as the hike can be quite challenging, but still very accessible! Also, if you decide to walk from the main parking and are only interested in the hike itself, I would suggest coming back taking the same path instead of going all the way to the beach for which you'll need to walk about 2 hours to get back (unless you hitchhike).

An amazing trip, but if you want to have time to admire the beauty, I recommend reserving about 3 hours to get down and 3.5 hours to get back up. Sometimes it is slippery and it is almost impossible not to get wet at some point in the trip so i recommend some waterproof shoes or a towel to dry your feet after passing some places barefoot. It is a beautiful and not tiring track, anyone can do it (maybe u should not bring small children, but if you do and tou help them, they will do just fine)
