Lifeguards watch over this area, as its exposed to the wind and is generally quite wavy. Rent umbrellas and chairs for a fee, but enjoy plenty of game areas and equipment provided for free. You'll also find plenty of restaurants and snack bars within walking distance. The beach is long, narrow, and notably clean, ideal for a long walk--but be advised that the waves and steep drop-off make the waters inappropriate for children. I love pebbled beaches! You take a step or two and you can already swim in deep water. Not like those sandy beaches where you have to walk a mile and there’s still water up to your stomach only 😜
