Take the short hike to Nydri Waterfalls and be rewarded with a swim among lush scenery. While little water flows down the rock and into the pool, the height of the falls and the scenery surrounding it create a tropical atmosphere complete with wildflowers and thick foliage. The hiking trail is partially paved and has a protective railing, making it safe for those of nearly every skill level. Bring along a towel and consider a change of clothes; you can take a dip in the pool and then get refreshment at the cafe near the trailhead after your swim. Haven't been at the parking. I followed a hiking trail and ended up directly behind the concrete building at the start or the waterfall walk. Very touristic walk, not bad but I have seen better. However for this island it is a must see. I was almost the only one that made it a nice walk. Plenty of time to make nice shots without people. I try not to imagine how it would be in summer.... (1 star less at least I guess)
