If you are beach people then this is not a beach you should visit, not a grain of sand in sight, just stones and pebbles, not ideal for walking barefoot on. Would not go out of your way to visit here.

The beach is nice and quiet in May. For sensitive feet, bring special shoes as the stones hurt (at least for me).

Water not clear

Pleasant spot to have a lunch in some of the interesting restaurants but the beach is with big stones and it’s not easy to enter the water. Bonus is the view to the monastery. If you’re a sand lover stick to Chania beaches
