Nestled in the foothills of two mountains, the arc-shaped Myrtos Beach gained attention for its narrow strip of warm pebbly sand, lapped by the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. Located in the northwestern section of Kefalonia, the largest of the Ionian Islands, the area surrounding the beach offers a full selection of tourist facilities. You can rent umbrellas and sunbeds nearby, as well as arrange for a leisurely boat cruise around the island. Several taverns within walking distance of the water serve local cuisine and cold drinks.
