Founded in 1995, this natural history museum provides a safe home for animals injured in the wild, as well as unwanted pets. The aquarium features 15 tanks, two pools, and several terrariums which serve as recreated natural habitats for various species of snakes, sea turtles, frogs, lizards, and fish. You can have your picture taken with most of these wild animals, or learn about their feeding and breeding habits from the staff. We visited the aquarium with a 3 year old and he absolutely loved it! I have to say the adults loved it too. It is not a big place but we still managed to stay for over an hour. I would recommend arriving for opening at 10am as the feeding of the animals started straight away which was very enjoyable to see. The staff were very friendly and there was lots of opportunity to hold or touch different animals. The staff were very informative about why the animals had been rescued and what the plan for release into the wild was. They clearly care a lot about all of the animals.

Amazing little place with plenty of well looked after species. It's not very big, but is priced accordingly. Animals are all in great health and you can see the people working there really care and are very knowledgeable about all of the animals. You're able to handle many of the reptiles too.
