The shallow, warm waters at Kaminia Beach offers ideal conditions for swimming. The beach is protected from easterly winds, which keeps the waters calm and creates the wide sands that provide plenty of room for visitors. Only one hotel near the sand rents lounge chairs and umbrellas; it kindly offers its facilities to all beach visitors. Although this spot is popular in high season, the location outside the nearest city means that it is rarely crowded.     Beautiful large beach nice for walking or just relaxing. Water is very clear warm and shallow. Nice little snack bar on the beach

    I love to walk on beaches and this was my favourite beach to walk on in Kefalonia. It is quite a long beach and is not too busy. There seemed to be areas where turtles were nesting which were marked.....  more

    Long beach with plain crystal clear water. This beach is for people who say so want to be alone. There are no showers.
