  • Visited to see the tomb of Napoleon, which was frankly weird and cultish. BUT! Well worth it to see everything else, from the tomb of Marshal Foch, to the Museum of the order of the Liberation.

  • A wonderful and huge, and I mean very extensive, museum of French military history. I cannot overstate the size of this place, I spent four hours in the wings covering the two world wars alone. And there is so much more to see! The exhibit titles are in several languages, but the full explanation is all in French. You can get audio guides but I just read the signs as best I could. Don't forget to see the Tomb of Napoleon while you're here, it's pretty unforgettable.
  • Don't get me wrong, the army museum was great. Full of historic information, uniforms and guns. The only (major) disappointment is that the WWI and WWII part of museum was closed but the officer in the ticket desk did not inform us about this. This was my main interest so I got really disappointed but overall the museum had a lot of interesting this to check from Napoleon to Medieval ages.
