Tete de Chien, La Turbie

Hike across limestone rocks through a wild landscape of cacti and uncultivated herbs to reach Tete de Chien, where you can picnic while taking in scenic views of the French Riviera. This historic site was the place where Cesar rested after he conquered the Gauls, and also served as a base for German troops during WWII; you can still see the remains of their old bunkers.
