We visited the zoo in Aug 21 and we enjoyed our stay. The shows are great, especially the new show with the birds. The walking in the zoo is nice but sometimes it is difficult to find the way through.... more

What a great experience! The animals looked healthy, the staff was friendly (not all spoke English) and it was clean. It had multiple angles to view the animals so they were always visible. Seems a little expensive to get in at first, until you consider what it costs to care for such a wide variety of animals. Well worth the trip (we drove from Germany). Cannot recommend highly enough.

The animals seemed stressed and many enclosures were (personal opinion if compared to Rotterdam, one of Europe's best zoos) too small. The price was too high, if factored in that the animals don't seem to get the ideal space and care/stress relief they would need. Too many animals/species on a small surface and they should definitely augment the quantity of restrooms (at least 1 in every "world"). I dont recommend.
