Although it is a ruine, it is one of the largest medieval castles in CZ well preserved (as a ruine) and as such gives a good imagination of what that castle could have been

Stopped in while in the area. Interesting castle to visit with a reasonable amount of English captions. The tour was self- guided. There was also a small museum on site. Worth the time if you are in..... more

Nice little castle, with a good restaurant at the bottom. They have all kinds of fun stuff happening. From theater nights, to knight duels. Fine place to spend a weekend.

We had a great tour of the castle. The tour guide shared lots of interesting information and was able to answer many questions. Some of the rooms are very well preserved and it was great to have a look into the past. Some of the highlights are the Black Kitchen, the Renaissance rooms and the Rondel.
