  • Not very spectacular. You can visit only a few halls, where there is not much to see. In 30-40 minutes you can see all. Vladislav Hall is impressive for its size but not for its decorations.

  • Very impressive compound and even if you have just a few hours in Prague, this is where you should spend them. You can get tickets that grant you access to the old castle, the cathedral, the basilica and the Golden Lane, which are all next to each other. As you can imagine, the place can get super crowded with tourists, so if you'd like to avoid that, make sure you set your alarm early enough to beat the hoards of tourists who will be heading there. Walking up the hill yup the compound, there is a very nice little Café on the left with amazing views.
  • The grounds are large and there is much to see. However the royal palace was smaller than I expected. Be careful there are many different buildings so it takes time to get around.
