Step behind the Iron Curtain with a visit to Museum of Communism, dedicated to the story of ordinary Czechs struggling for democracy in the decades following World War II. Established in 2001 by businessman Glenn Spicker, the museum is located in an 18th-century palace near the center of the city. Spicker gathered many of the displayed artifacts, which include photographs and military objects, at flea markets and junk shops in and around Prague. The museum's three galleries offer visitors a fully immersive experience, complete with film screenings and educational lectures. Start your exploration at the museum's reconstructed classroom, offering insight into a day in the life of a Communist-era schoolchild. Museum code of ethics 4.2: Museums should ensure that information they present in displays and exhibitions is well founded, accurate and gives appropriate consideration to represented groups and core beliefs. The Museum of Communism, although including some interesting pieces from the communist period, in reality consisted simply of walls upon walls of text that so clearly advocated an anti-communist bias. Although many in this area of the world have feelings of resentment toward communism, I expected more from a Museum. I was not surprised to read the founder of this museum was an American businessman. Be careful when reading the information presented if you choose to visit.

Too much text and not enough artifacts. It's like reading an essay. An informative experience but not entertaining. Also has a strong bias which at times seems more subjective than objective. If you're a history buff It's okay I guess.
