Papagayo Gulf Sport Fishing - North Pacific Tours, Playa Hermosa

We had an absolutely fantastic time with Captain Mauricio and his two exceptional crew members. They were warm, approachable, kind and knowledgeable. They impressed us from minute one because we were among the first boats on the ocean that morning and it paid off. As other charters began to show up and the wind picked up, we already had a boat full of Snapper and Grouper. We spent the rest of the day testing different styles of lures in a variety of less occupied spaces, sipping ice cold beers and being treated to fresh Pineapple. We couldn’t give the Don Manuel any higher praise than to say it was a highlight of our trip - the company, the boat, the team, the fish, the drinks, the snacks and the meal we made of our catch which we were able to share with our wonderful neighbours at Casitas Vista Mar. You would be hard pressed to find a better way to spend a day in Playa Hermosa or the surrounding areas of Costa Rica.

I would recommend this tour. We did a half day and it was perfect. We went to many different spots and explored the coastline. Lisa was also very helpful and responsive. Great tour and great people.
