Beautiful, well thought out living compounds of southeastern Fujian Province. They were built between the 12th and 20th centuries. Thus, this design proved its worth and benefits over 800 years.

As a buildings, tulou (earth building) is very interesting, i specially enjoy to see how people still live that kind of buildings. Oldest tulou is about 800 years old and still standing. Reach tulous.... more
