Also known as "Qilou Arcade Streets," the run-down Qilou Old Street had all of its 39 buildings restored, was entirely repaved with cobblestones, and fully pedestrianized. Nowadays, the street provides vistors with a relaxed shopping environment, with plenty of outdoor seating around new juice bars and coffee shops. Bear in mind that this is not to be confused with "Qilou Snack Street," a newly developed, large-scale restaurant courtyard nearby.
