  • No where to sit, a single snake like path. Had to give up and not see it all as couldn't find place to rest within the exhibits except for the movies.

  • Took longer than I expected. Good exhibits and lots of space. But the efforts to murder each other over the years made me sad

  • This is a wonderfully done museum. It tells the stories of people who were impacted by war, and is not simply dry artifacts. In the vehicle bay downstairs, we met a volunteer who had served in the Army in the 1960s. He was engaging and had some excellent stories (appropriate for small ears). Each vehicle is labeled with its specs, and there's a "did you know" story beside most of them. Upstairs, the museum is ordered chronologically. While you can go directly to the period you're interested in, it's worth visiting the whole place. We spent 6 hours here. The cafe wasn't open at the time, so we packed a lunch and sat at the picnic tables beside the river. The only disappointment was the gift shop. It was a decent size but didn't have a pin or patch specific to this museum. We collect patches and sew them on a jacket.
  • I reached out to the museum for guidance on good books on Canadian history for my own personal research and study. They took time away from their work to help me and gave me several great recommendations I am now enjoying. I have not had the privilege to visit this museum yet as I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I can say though the staff I interacted with were very kind and knowledgeable. I can't wait to make a trip up to Canada to visit this museum one day soon!
