Known for its historic link to Irish-Canadian culture, St. Patrick's Basilica offers grand architecture and ornaments in an active place of worship. The building showcases gothic revival architecture on the outside. Once inside, view the 25 m (82 ft) columns all carved from the same white oak. The decorations feature a mixture of Irish shamrocks and French fleur de lys. The ten bells, also known as St. Patricks Chimes, are a popular draw, as one was originally cast in 1774 and used in Notre Dame. Attended 11 o'clock Sunday Mass here in English and heard a good sermon about striking the balance in life between being and acting. Beautiful architecture, impressive layout, and fair sized congregation. Much high rise building going on around it.

They have a very good reverent Mass. All the COVID stuff is done now so you can sit where you want and go up to get the Eucharist and you are invited to sing along. It's honestly one of the nicest church in Montreal. I love going to Mass there. Great people there too !
