See an impressive architectural landmark and place of worship at Cathedral of Marie-Reine-du-Monde, a minor basilica. Construction was completed in 1894, with the large church displaying a baroque architectural style and reaching a height of 77 m (252 ft) at the cupola, dominating the adjoining square. Designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2000, the basilica's notable features include exterior statues of the patron saints of Montreal's 13 parishes, a great organ, and a stucco crucifix sculpted by Philippe Hebert. It is a beautiful church. The altar is a miniature replica of St Peter Basilica's altar. It is an awesome spiritual experience. Praying there soothes one's soul and helps one achieve a meditative state of mind elevating oneself closer to God. Who needs yoga. Praying is the ultimate form of meditation. 😍🙏

Fantastic church. It is very big and sumptuous. You can visit this church for free. There are 13 very nice and detailed sculptures just over the entrance gate which represents Jesus and 12 Apostles. They recommend you to walk only right and left corridors not the middle one as people come here to pray. So you wont disturb them.
