Immerse yourself in numerous exhibits exploring humankind's relationship to the environment at Biosphere, housed in a geodesic dome designed by world-renowned architect Buckminster Fuller. The verdant island setting puts nature at the forefront as you explore exhibits on climate, meteorology, and sustainable development. Interactive displays create a fun and educational space for children and adults alike. The dome itself was originally part of Expo 67, the most successful World's Fair of the 20th century. This important piece of architectural history stands at 61 m (200 ft) tall, with a spherical diameter of 76 m (250 ft). • I havn't actually been there but I want to know the price of going. I know from the 13-15 of August, it is going to be free but after that, what is the expected price to be paying if I want to go...

  • Thought it to be a very interesting piece of architecture. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to go inside but enjoyed the view from outside looking in.

  • Very nice girls helping us make the most of our one hour visit time limit. (They we’re closing soon. ) But most of all OLIVER - YOU ARE AMAZING!!! Oliver did a presentation for the kids in the garden. I wish we just stayed there the whole time. He was so patient with all of the kids climbing around him and digging through his interesting artifacts. I can't get over how patient he was with them and how enthusiastic he was answering all their questions. This kind of character is one in a million. Best part of the visit.
  • The sphere is beautiful to look at. Very nice views of the water and the rest of the park. There are very informative exhibits, which are well done, but not a lot of exhibits. You can walk through pretty quickly. With the passport it’s definitely worth checking out along with the other museums.
