This attraction was created in 1995 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Swarovski crystal company. Designed by multimedia artist Andre Heller, the crystal museum encompasses art, music, dance, and literature into one overwhelming experience. "The Giant," a face landscaped on the hillside with crystals for eyes and a water fountain for a mouth, greets you as you approach the entrance of the museum. If you like to spend some time seeing crystal-made art then this is a good opportunity. Moreover the garden outside is unique. It was crowded in certain rooms and that was somewhat bothersome.

Huge outdoor area with lots of playgrounds for the kids to enjoy. And of course Swarovski museum worth visiting. Take the audio device to get good explanations. Don’t miss the snow room. They’ve Arabic audio device too. You could easily spend an hour inside and 2-3 hours in the kids play areas.

Excellent museum. It's far from Innsbruck and pricey BUT totally worth it. I'd say it's a day trip. My surprise were: reasonable restaurant price and solid playground for children. Oh yes, you can totally feel people here are in business of making money. Everything is translated and very very well organized (like in the US)
