  • It was fun with two kids (5,7). Took about 1.5 hour but never boring! It can be cold down in the mine, dont forget to bring an extra sweat jacket.
  • We had very great experience at Saltmine Hallstatt, they have researched a lot on how Salt was trapped in the mountains before 7000 years how people found out and started digging the salt about 3000 years ago, how people were dressing, how was the tools that time, how was the life of the miners, the world's oldest man made staircase. All these details were explained very well also in English The most fun part was miners slide and train, that is real fun.
